Marina Barreto, MBA

Marina Barreto is a strategist, coach, and business leader with over 30 years of global experience in strategic planning, business development, insights, and analytics. Over nearly two decades at The Walt Disney Company, Marina held executive leadership roles including Vice President of Brand Strategy & Analytics, where she led global brand, franchise, and audience growth initiatives. She also served as Vice President of Business Planning for Consumer Products, Games & Publishing, and held key roles in Disney Channels Worldwide and Corporate Alliances, managing strategic partnerships with brands such as Coca-Cola and Nestlé. Earlier in her career, she held roles in international marketing at Warner Bros. Entertainment, management consulting at Monitor Group, and finance at Citibank and Merrill Lynch.

Marina is passionate about inclusion and belonging across all dimensions of diversity and has championed this commitment throughout her career—internally by shaping inclusive workplace cultures, and externally through partnerships and programs that elevate underrepresented voices.

Building on this passion and her experience, Marina founded BellusMentis—a micro-consulting, coaching, and resource center dedicated to leveraging business strategy expertise and psychology and neuroscience-informed personal development tools to support innovative thinkers in bringing their ideas to life.

Marina serves on the board of the Institute for the Advancement of Breastfeeding and Lactation Education (IABLE), a nonprofit dedicated to optimizing breastfeeding support in outpatient care. She also serves on the board of Children in Harmony, a nonprofit that empowers young people to make their voices heard through music-making, emotional learning, and community engagement in youth-led programs.

Originally from Brazil, Marina has lived and worked across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Psychology at Harvard Extension School. She lives in California with her two children.
